We are a green technology company with two leading brands: Oxium (oxo-biodegradable additive) & Ecoplas (cassava based plastic). We actively collaborate with manufacturers, brand owners, non-governmental organizations, local & national governments to create sustainable consumption & production towards a better, greener earth.

Our technology has been widely scrutinized, tested, certified, to ensure trust and credibility.  We do our homework well because we take our mission very seriously.

Tommy Tjiptadjaja, MBA

Co-Founder and CEO

Tommy is passionate in leading the team to solve the world’s problems and bringing clear social and environmental impact.  His past experience includes owner/managing partner of handwoven furniture and fashion brands, executive of Indonesia’s top conglomerate group, management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. 

After spending 10 years in the US and Europe, Tommy chose to go back home to pursue his idealism of building Indonesia, foregoing his permanent residence status abroad.  Tommy actively builds communities of entrepreneurs and business leaders who are committed to do business with integrity. 

Tommy received MBA with Honors from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and spent some time learning development economics in London School of Economics.  Together with Sugianto, he was also selected and graduated from Harvard University & Schwab Foundation World Economic Forum scholarship program on “Delivering Social Impact at Scale”.  Recently Tommy was selected as Top 100 Visionary Leaders by Real-Leaders magazine (https://real-leaders.com/spring-2018/). Along with Greenhope as an “Unreasonable Company”, Tommy was selected as one of the Unreasonable Fellows to participate in Unreasonable Goals program (unreasonable-goals.com).   

Tommy greatly values spending time with his wife and two homeschooled daughters.

Sugianto Tandio, Msc.

Co-Founder and Chairman

With 40 years of experience in flexible packaging, Sugianto then spent a decade researching and developing the next generation sustainable plastics.  “It is to redeem my 40 years of sins polluting the earth with our plastic”, he often says.  Since launching Oxium and Ecoplas, he never looked back.  A prolific innovator, Sugianto designs solutions to address real market needs in a sustainable and economical way. 

He is also highly collaborative in his approach, generously spending time sharing his expertise as well as learning from others (government agencies, NGOs, etc.).  He dreams a collaborative world of government-industry-people/NGOs successfully solving environmental and societal problems.

Sugianto’s experience includes commercialization scientist/engineer at 3M, USA.  He has received numerous personal awards such as World Economic Forum’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Presidential Award as Industrial Pioneer.  Sugianto received his Master of Science from University of North Dakota.

Sugianto is a father of two sons and devoted husband to his lovely wife, Mrs. Dewi.  Together they returned to their homeland to contribute and create innovations from Indonesia that can proudly be shared to the world.
