Tommy is a social entrepreneur who believes and enjoys creating great, sustainable value by solving the world’s big problems and bringing net positive social and environmental impact.  

His experience includes co-owning and managing a furniture and fashion brand, holding a high-level position in a major Indonesian enterprise, and working as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. 
After living in the USA and Europe for 10 years, he returned to Indonesia to help build the nation and people. 

Tommy received MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and studied development economics at the London School of Economics. Together with Sugianto, he received scholarship to be part of Harvard Kennedy School & Schwab Foundation’s program with The World Economic Forum. Tommy was selected as Top 100 Visionary Leaders by Real-Leaders magazine, as well as an Unreasonable Fellow in Unreasonable Goals program and community (unreasonable-goals.com). At home Tommy greatly values spending time with and gaining inspiration from his wife and three daughters, as well as serving his local community. 

Sugianto came from 40 year family business background in plastic packaging, giving him deep understanding on plastic materials, production techniques, and the value chain. Prior to Greenhope, Sugianto worked at 3M in the United States as an RnD Engineer where he honed his market and impact-driven research and development skills and discipline. 

Educated at the University of North Dakota, Sugianto is recognized as a scientist and inventor of environmentally friendly materials, having received awards and recognitions such as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award, Indonesia President’s Industrial Pioneer Award, Best Applied Innovation from the Indonesian Minister for Research and Technology, 50 Most Impactful Social Innovators by World CSR Congress, and together with Tommy, Schwab Social Entrepreneur with The World Economic Forum. 

Sugianto went home after spending enough time in the USA to pursue his dream of taking Indonesia to the next level through innovation. He firmly believes that for Indonesia to grow into advance country with such a large population, we need applied innovations that can take our job-creating manufacturing sector to the next level, seizing the opportunity in the space that he understand deeply: plastic business and RnD to solve sustainability challenge. 

Through his 10 years of research with many failures, Sugianto finally significant innovations in positively ‘disrupting’ plastic industry with effective sustainable solutions based on local sources, context, and affordability. 

Sugianto loves to continue developing new innovations as well as spending time with this wife and two grown up sons.

Prof. Dr. Todung Mulya Lubis, S.H., LL.M., is an Indonesian diplomat and legal expert in dispute resolution. Known as a writer and a prominent figure in the human rights movement, he has had a significant influence in the fields of law and human rights in Indonesia. In 2018, President Joko Widodo appointed him as the Indonesian Ambassador to Norway and Iceland, a highlight in his diplomatic career. He established The Law Office of Mulya Lubis and Partners (Lubis Santosa and Maulana Law Offices) since 1991. 

Prof. Todung received his undergraduate law degree from Indonesia’s top University, Universitas Indonesia. He then continued his education receiving Master of Law (LLM) from The University of California at Berkeley in 1978 and Harvard University in 1987. He received his Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) from UC Berkeley. In 2017 he received the prestigious Elise and Walter A. Haas International Award from UC Berkeley to recognize his extraordinary contribution to the society. 

Currently, Prof. Todung Mulya Lubis serves as a Board of Commissioner at Greenhope, where he applies his expertise and experience to support the company's environmental efforts. His contributions across various sectors demonstrate his dedication and commitment to social development and environmental conservation.

Dr. Suparno Adijanto, the CEO of Bumi Raya Group in Jakarta, Indonesia, oversees businesses in mining, plantations, renewable energy, distribution, and property development. He also serves as the Executive Chair and CEO of Global Palm Resources Limited, a plantation holding company listed in Singapore, he has made significant contributions to the plantation industry. 

Suparno actively participates on the boards of educational institutions, social foundations, international forums, and market services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Honors) from University College London, an MBA from Bradford Management Centre at the University of Bradford, UK, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the College of Business Administration at Georgia State University, USA. Alongside his colleagues, he is dedicated to advocating for a greener world at Greenhope, where he serves as a Commissioner.

Diaz Hendropriyono is an Indonesian politician who currently serves as a Special Staff to the President of Indonesia and has been the Chairman of the Indonesian Justice and Unity Party since 2018. His political experience and leadership have led him to significant roles in the Indonesian government. 

A keen lifelong learner, Diaz received his MBA in International Business with Magna Cum Laude from Hawaii Pacific University, as well as Master of Public Administration (MPA) with Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech University. 

Currently, Diaz Hendropriyono is extending his influence by serving as a member of the Board of Commissioners at Greenhope. His role at Greenhope represents a collaboration between political leadership and corporate initiatives to promote environmental sustainability and just transition. Recently Diaz released an extensively-researched 600+ pages of book called “Dangerous Humans”, that seek to highlight the urgency of the problems as well as critically evaluate various innovations and their strengths and limitations based on his extensive journey and work as President’s Special Staff.

Known fondly in some circles as practician and “Father of social entrepreneurs”, Dato Dr. Kim Tan is the Chairman of SpringHill Management, a fund management company specializing in biotechnology investments and social venture capital. As a partner and advisor in various impact funds, including Inqo Investments, Springhill Equity Partners, Novastar Ventures, and Garden Impact Investment, he holds significant influence in the investment sector. He is also a co-founder of the Transformational Business Network and serves on the advisory boards of the John Templeton Foundation, J&J Citizenship Trust, and PovertyCure. Dato Dr. Kim Tan holds the position of Pro-Chancellor at the University of Surrey and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. His leadership experience includes serving on the board of the APEC Life Science Innovation Forum and the Saracens Rugby Club. As a member of the Board of Commissioners, he brings extensive expertise and experience in investment especially as social enterprise model, education, and healthcare, as well as the model of humility, low profile, and being others-centered.
